Half-Day Pre-Convention Course

Developing a Gynecologic Ultrasound Program

Half-day Course | 1:00 pm–5:00 pm
This program is designed to assist in establishing a gynecologic ultrasound program. This program addresses limited experience during training, as well as practicing clinicians who desire to enhance the quality of their gynecologic ultrasound studies and improve their diagnostic abilities. The program addresses establishing a protocol for gynecologic ultrasound studies, improving your images. It then addresses diagnosis of common gynecologic conditions, concluding with proper coding and documentation of gynecologic ultrasound studies.

Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Lower Extremity: Hands-On Evaluation With Pathologic Correlation

Full-day Course | 8:00 am–5:00 pm
This all-day pre-convention course serves as an introduction to the basics of musculoskeletal ultrasound and their application to the lower extremity. Students will learn basic sonographic anatomy and common pathologies associated with the hip, knee, and ankle through short didactic lectures followed by hands-on scanning on live models proctored by an expert. This course is oriented towards beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills.

Unveiling the Unseen: First Trimester Fetal Anatomic Assessment

Full-day Course | 8:00 am–5:00 pm
This course is designed for clinicians aiming to strengthen their skills in first trimester fetal imaging. The morning session covers the Standard First Trimester Ultrasound (SFTU), including expected anomalies, placental evaluation, and gynecologic organ assessment per imaging guidelines. The afternoon focuses on the Detailed First Trimester Ultrasound (DTFU), offering advanced techniques and diagnostic insights to deepen participants’ expertise. Attendees will gain practical, guideline-based knowledge to improve accuracy and confidence in early pregnancy imaging.

Payments and Cancellations

Registration fees are payable at the time of online registration. Both credit cards and ACH payments are accepted. Written cancellation to learn@aium.org must be received by April 27, 2026, to receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $50 administration fee. Written cancellations received after April 27, 2026, will not receive a refund.
