In-Training

The “In Training” category is reserved for individuals currently engaged in a formal educational or training program related to the field of ultrasound or medicine. Eligibility must be verifiable through an accredited institution. Informal, part-time, continuing education, professional development or self-directed learning activities, including certificate programs pursued after substantial professional experience, do not qualify. 

• Students must be actively pursuing a degree or certificate as part of initial entry into the field (Sonography Certificate Program, Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral, or equivalent) at an accredited educational institution
• Residents must be participating in a recognized graduate medical education program.
• Fellows should be enrolled in a post-residency or postdoctoral subspecialty training program.

The AIUM reserves the right to request verification of enrollment or training status at any time, including annually. Providing false or outdated information may result in reclassification of membership, adjustment of convention or event registration type, and, if necessary, termination of membership.

By selecting the “In Training” category, you attest that the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you meet the criteria described above.

Badges

Register by April 27, 2026, to speed up the time needed for you to pick up your badge at the event and help the AIUM create an amazing event for you.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation e-mail and receipt once your registration form and payment are submitted online.

Payments and Cancellations

Written cancellation to learn@aium.org must be received by April 27, 2026, to receive a refund of the registration fee minus a $250 administration fee. Written cancellations received after April 27, 2026, will not receive a refund. In the unlikely event that the program is canceled, seminar registration fees will be fully refunded. However, please note that the AIUM cannot be held responsible for any travel or hotel costs incurred by participants.

In the unlikely event that AIUM cancels the program, the registration fees will be automatically rolled over as an account credit to be used toward a future course or an upcoming AIUM event. If preferred, registrants may also contact AIUM by phone at 800-638-5352 to discuss alternative arrangements, including the option of a refund. Registrants of canceled courses will be notified as soon as the decision has been made. Unfortunately, AIUM cannot reimburse any travel expenses incurred prior to the course cancellation.
